Please state that your documents are "Torrens Property" in your cover letter, and include the Certificate of Title number.

Certain Torrens documents, prior to recording, must be presented to the Torrens Examiner for approval.  For a list of matters requiring approval, click on the following link: Directives and Certifications.  If you have questions, please ask your legal counsel for advice, or you may call the Torrens Examiner directly. 

When a new Certificate of Title is entered McLeod County will issue a copy to the owner . (Pursuant to M.S. 508.40)  All Torrens documents are returned after filing.
