Court Security

The McLeod County Court Services provides security to the 1st Judicial District-McLeod County Court through enforcement of courtroom decorum and orders of the court. McLeod County has one operating courthouse located in the City of Glencoe that houses three court rooms, two judges, and court services. The McLeod County Court is a general jurisdiction court that hears all types of civil and criminal cases.

Weapons and other dangerous items are not allowed on Courthouse premises. Current notices, requirements, and restrictions are posted at the entrance of the McLeod County Courthouse. 

Items such as food, beverages, weapons, and other dangerous items are not allowed into the courtrooms.
