Permits
The Highway Department requires permits for various activities.  The fees associated with these permits and an explanation of these permits are as listed.  The permits are available for download below.

                   Fees:                              Description: 

$100 / New Field or Residential $250 / New Commercial $25 / Widening Field Entrance $25 / Change Use	Entrance Permit:  Application for new, widening, or change in use.
$20 / Each $100 / Annual	Moving Building Permit:   Application for transporting a building or trailer house.
$20 / Each $100 / Annual	Moving Oversized Equipment Permit:  Application for transporting an oversized piece of equipment.
$100 / each	Utility Permit:   Application for utility work within County Right-of-way.
$150/ Each plus $10 per lot (Residential; 6 lots or less - No Charge)	Application for Preliminary Plat Review:    For plats and/or sketch plans along or abutting McLeod County Roads and County State Aid Highways.
$125	Rural Address (911 Sign): Information and Application for a new rural address sign.
