Victim Information & Notification Everyday (VINE) |
What is VINE?
VINE (Victim Information & Notification Everyday) is a free, anonymous, computer-based service that provides victims of crime two important services: information and notification.
VINE will tell you if an offender is in the custody of the Minnesota Department of Corrections or a county jail (that is participating in the VINE program) and give you custody information. VINE will also let you leave a phone number where you want to be called automatically when that offender is released or transferred.
Obtaining Offender Information:
There are two ways to obtain VINE offender information. Log on to the VINE Web site at www.vinelink.com or call 1-877-MN-4-VINE. There are information leaflets available in the lobby at the McLeod County Sheriff's Office. |
