Sheriff Scott Rehmann is the 26th Sheriff of McLeod County. The Sheriff is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of McLeod County and is responsible for both common and statutory law to keep and preserve the peace of the county. Also, the Sheriff is an officer of the McLeod District Court and has charge and custody of the county jail. Directions to Sheriff's Office We are located approximately 50 miles west of the Twin Cities area on U.S. Highway 212. From U.S. Highway 212 turn onto Morningside Dr., go west on Morningside Dr., which turns into 10^th Street. Go 13 blocks to Hennepin Ave. The Law Enforcement Center is located on the NE corner of the intersection of 10^th Street and Hennepin Avenue.
