Horizontal Positional Accuracy
Lineage	The original data were obtained from the TIGER source. TIGER linework comes from USGS DLG files captured off of maps at a 1:100,000 scale. The US Census Bureau then added attributes. Digital Orthophotos (DOQs) were used as a backdrop for reshaping road features. Roads built after the April '91 NAPP flight do not appear on the DOQs. A variety of sources were used to capture these roads. Sources include: as-built drawings (lines were calculated using CAD software), CAD files obtained from cities (Hutchinson, Winsted, and Glencoe), and parcel maps (that were scanned and rectified, then used for "heads-up" digitizing). All roads in the Hutchinson were obtained from a shapefile obtained from the city of Hutchinson. Most of the roads in Glencoe and Winsted are reshaped from the DOQs. Attributes: A number of attributes exist along with the road centerline file. Left and right address ranges are assigned to all roads outside of city boundaries. Address ranges for Hutchinson are included in this file, because these were already in the shapefile obtained from the city.
