Free Golf Lessons for Veterans- Summer 2018

Veterans who are receiving care at the St Cloud VA Medical Center are welcome to participate in free golf lessons taught be professional golfers. No experience is necessary and equipment will be provided. A separate men's and women's session will take place. To sign-up for the men's session contact Corrin Heesch at 320-252-1670 extension 6034. Ray Wilkens Memorial Golf Scramble- June 22, 2018

The Ray Wilkens family is hosting another golf scramble to benefit our local McLeod County Veterans Association. Entrance fee is $70 for non-GCC members, $60 for GCC members, and $50 for GCC members with a cart. Hole sponsorships are needed. Donations of cash, prizes, and services are also welcome. Wake For Warriors, an organization that uses water sports to heal the emotional and psychological wounds of military veterans, will be in Minnesota holding a wakesurfing clinic on Lake Minnetonka. The crew at Wake For Warriors has run various clinics across the country, and offers coaching expertise as well as a chance to get on the water to try wakesurfing. Limited spots remain on the boats, preference is given to combat wounded veterans.
