The Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota is pleased to join with museums nationwide in participating in the tenth summer of Blue Star Museums, an initiative which offers free admission to our nation's active-duty personnel and their families throughout the summer! Free museum admission is available for those currently serving in the US military - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves and National Guard. Qualified members must show military ID card or dependent ID card for entrance.

All veterans are welcome to participate in this standdown. Services provided include: meals, VA benefits, legal support, public benefits, employers, hair cuts, dental checkups, housing support, support services, and clothing. An informal welcome home will take place right before the grandstand event for this evening.

These informal orientation sessions start with a presentation and are followed by a question and answer session with a tour.
